Alex Gough’s team have not won back to back league games yet this season, their also yet to lose two games in a row, however they have a chance of rectifying that on Saturday with a trip to Sheffield University Staff.

They lose Freddie Egginton, who’s cool, calm finishing has led to a promotion to bolster the second team batting. Callum Bentley is also injured, his runs have been valuable so far this season. However, the return of Ethan Shillito and Ollie Chapman-Stott from a poorly pinky, will help massively.

Four wins and three loses has left the side in third place in Division Four, but another slip up could see the side fall out of the top six. A win could see them leapfrog Thorncliffe, who have beaten Barnsley twice this season.
