Another victory for the third team leaves them in second place and firmly in a promotion fight as we head towards the halfway point of the season.
At 36 for 3, having been put in by Upper Haugh, Dairen Hirst-Spalding batted very sensibly to make 45. He found an alley in Ben Bentley who continued his fine batting form with 45 of his own. Harveer Batth (17) and Callum Bentley (19) also helped push the team to 181 all out.
The bowling hasn’t been an issue this season and both spinners Ethan Shillito and Alex Gough took five wickets each to bowl the away side out for 109. Both bowlers are now into the top ten of the leading wicket takers in the division.
