

Barnsley collapsed in the second half of the game at Stocksbridge to leave them with no points from the games.
After winning the toss captain Callum Bentley put Stocksbridge into bat. Saif Ahmadzai and Bentley opened up with the former one bowling tight lines and the skipper a little loose to start the spell. Saif was unlucky to finish wicketless from his spell.
Callum grow into his spell and completed his 13 overs with a nice rhythm, picking up four wickets along the way supported by some good fielding.
At the other end Finn Parker-Wake bowled four good overs picking up one wicket. Issac Wilkes came next with 3 wickets bowling really well in his spell. Harveer Batth’s introduction was introduced the wrapped up the Stockbridge innings on 98.
After the break Stocksbridge put Barnsley Woolley on the back foot, taking 2 wickets n the first over.
Barnsley continued to lose wickets at a fast rate from some very good Stocksbridge bowling. Ethan Shillito dug in for a hard earned 24 to then be caught by an absolute worldly at gully. Unfortunately the rest of the order collapsed to finish on 44 all out.
With plenty of positives from the first half, the side will look to bounce back next week.
