The Under 15s enjoyed their second comprehensive victory in as many games as they beat Elsecar by 43 runs at Woolley.

Batting first the home side lost Isaac Wilkes early before a 60 run partnership between Ollie Chapman-Stott and Charlie Hay, which needed when Ollie retired on 41 from 32 balls. That brought Vinnie Chapman to the crease, Charlie and Vinnie added another 32 before Charlie was caught for 36. Vinnie finished the innings on 18 not out.

Bobby Wright has impressed from his first ball for the club and again, his pace and accurate bowling brought him three wickets, all clean bowled with yorkers. He’s already onto six wickets for the U15s for only nine runs, with figures of 3 for 9 from his 4 overs.

Hayden Parker-Wake took the other wicket to fall, forcing a spooned catch to first slip. Elsecar made 88 for 4 from their 20 overs.
