The U15s remain unbeaten after another comfortable victory away at Penistone.

Batting first, Barnsley were on the front foot from the start, Isaac Wilkes was first to retire on 40 from 35 balls. Charlie Hay had made 22 from 30 balls before he was caught out. Vinnie Chapman made 17 from 15 balls and Harry Egginton finished on 32 not out from 28 balls. It led the side to a big score of 152 for 4 from their 20 overs.

Penistone never looked like chasing the score as Barnsley toiled away trying to take the full ten wickets to give them an extra point. Booby Wright took two in two balls to take his wicket tally in three games to eight. Isaac Wilkes backed up his fine batting by clean bowling the top scorer Richardson for 15.

Hayden Parker-Wake had a run out with a direct hit following a mix up and there was also a wicket for Jack Stead.

Penistone finished their innings on 68 for 6.
