Adrianna Darlow’s team won their second game of the season, this time by 9 wickets against Sprotbrough at Woolley.

The away side won the toss and chose to bat, and made a decent start to be 21 for 0 after 4 overs. William Chapman then removed two batters in three balls to give Barnsley the advantage. Sprotbrough rallied again but William Nicholson took two more wickets as the spinners kept in tight. Oliver Heseltine, making his U17s debut then took two more wickets at the death as the away side made 62 for 6 from their 20 overs.

The early loss of Zak Jahangir didn’t stop Barnsley from attacking and both Sheryaar Ali and Ciaran Stenton reached the target in 8.4 overs.
