The Sunday team put in a powerful batting display to beat Thurgoland at Woolley.
Openers Freddie Chapman and Alex Gough got off to a flying start and with a 150 run stand. Alex Gough was eventually adjudged in front of all 3 for 58. William Nicholson continued the onslaught and he and Chapman added 81 before Chapman was caught out for 120, his second hundred for the club at 16 years old.
Nicholson fell for 40 then Jordan Slattery took over the mantle as he blitzed 34 not out from just 14 balls. The innings closed on 306 for 5.
Thurgoland lost their first wicket with the second ball of the game thanks to Finlay Parker-Wade. They then established the innings with a 50 run partnership before the introduction of William Nicholson and Jordan Slattery. The former taking four wickets and Nico chipping in with two.
The innings came to an end in the 30th over for 137.
